  • Homemade Pie/Pastry Dough

    When we were all stuck at home back in 2020, I spent most of my spare time in the kitchen! This easy pie/pastry dough is a beginner friendly recipe for all!

    Ingredients:

    • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
    • 2 sticks of butter, cut into thin pats
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 3 T ice water

    Steps:

    1. Using a food processor, combine all ingredients just until the dough forms together. You do not want to overmix!
    2. Roll out dough onto a lightly floured surface. Fold into thirds, then into thirds again.
    3. Chill in the fridge at least one hour before using.
