  • Nanny’s Crusty Cream Cheese Poundcake

    Another recipe from Tanner’s nanny! This poundcake recipe will have your family fighting for every last crumb. Don’t try to mix this by hand though, unless that’s going to be your workout for the day!

    Ingredients:

    • 1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter
    • 1/2 cup shortening
    • 3 cups sugar
    • 8 oz cream cheese
    • 3 cups cake flour
    • 6 eggs
    • 1 T vanilla

    Steps:

    1. Cream butter, shortening, and sugar until light and fluffy.
    2. Alternate adding flour and eggs, starting and ending with flour.
    3. Stir in vanilla. Pour into a greased bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour 30 min. Don’t forget the toothpick test!

    *Cool fully before removing from pan*
