  • Nanny’s Six Week Muffins

Another great recipe from Tanner’s Nanny! After we had these muffins, I thought about them for MONTHS until I asked for the recipe! This makes a lot of muffins if you make them all at once. You can always make them and portion them out for the freezer! Muffins for days to come! The recipe claims the batter will last in the fridge for up to six weeks, but I haven’t tried that yet.

    Ingredients:

    • 15 oz raisin bran cereal
    • 1 cup vegetable oil
    • 3 cups sugar
    • 4 eggs
    • 1 quart buttermilk
    • 5 cups self rising flour
    • 2 tsp salt

    Steps:

    1. Combine oil, sugar, eggs, and buttermilk in a bowl. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl.
    2. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet and combine.
    3. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
