  • Grandmom’s Tangy Meatballs

From the kitchen of my grandmother: tangy, sweet meatballs that are perfect for any kind of occasion. Got a football tailgate, baby shower, birthday party? Try these meatballs and you’ll be the star of the show!

    Ingredients:

    Meatballs:

    • 2 eggs
    • 2 cups instant oats
    • 12 oz can carnation milk
    • 1 cup chopped onion
    • 2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp pepper
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    • 3 pounds ground beef

    Sauce:

    • 2 cups ketchup
    • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup chopped onion
    • 1 tsp liquid smoke
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

    Steps:

    1. Combine all meatball ingredients and roll into bite-sized balls
    2. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min. Remove from oven and drain excess grease.
    3. For the sauce, bring ingredients to a boil in a pan until well combined. Pour over meatballs and bake an additional 20 minutes.
