
This recipe is a favorite at Tanner’s family dinners! This recipe comes from his great grandmother, Wanda Jean, so you know it’s a good one! It’s been in their family for multiple generations and never disappoints our tummies!!
Ingredients:
- 2 10 oz bags frozen broccoli
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 T flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 8 oz jar of cheese spread
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup crushed crackers
Steps:
- Cook broccoli and drain well. Set aside.
- Sautee onion in a little bit of butter until tender. Add flour and stir well. Add in water and cook until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in beaten eggs and cheese sauce. Add broccoli and stir well to combine. Pour into prepared casserole dish.
- Toss crackers in melted butter and top casserole. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-40 min or until heated through and crackers are browned.
