    Budget Bites Series

The prices on these meals will, of course, depend on where you live and what store you shop in, but they surely won’t break the bank! Also, I am choosing not to include things like seasonings and essentials like butter and oil for cooking because I assume most people have these things in their home!

*Prices are all from Walmart, but will vary depending on what store you shop at. Most meals will serve 4.*

    Ingredients:

    • 1 can chicken- $1.34
    • 1 can corn- $0.64
    • 1 can black beans- $0.78
    • 24 oz jar of salsa- $2.36
    • 1 cup rice- $0.37
    • 1 pack velveeta cheese pouch- $1.09
    • Seasonings of choice!

    Steps:

    1. Cook rice in 1 cup water and 1/2 the salsa until tender and most moisture is gone. Drain corn and beans.
    2. Mix ingredients together in casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until warmed through.

Only $6.58 for this tasty meal!
