    Budget Bites Series

The prices on these meals will, of course, depend on where you live and what store you shop in, but they surely won’t break the bank! Also, I am choosing not to include things like seasonings and essentials like butter and oil for cooking because I assume most people have these things in their home!

*Prices are all from Walmart, but will vary depending on what store you shop at. Most meals will serve 4.*

This recipe comes from one of my favorite food bloggers, Julia Pacheco!

    Ingredients:

    • 3 packs Maruchan ramen (from 12 count box)- $0.31 each
    • 1 bag frozen deluxe stir fry veggies- $2.48
    • Soy sauce-$1.58

    Steps:

    1. In a large skillet, cook veggies until they start to soften. Season however you’d like!
    2. In a pot of boiling water, add all 3 packs of ramen (no seasoning) and cook through.
    3. Drain water from noodles. Add 1 pack of seasoning and 1/4 cup of soy sauce. Top with veggies and serve!

If you have a few extra bucks, adding some canned chicken to this dish would be a great idea! If you don’t want to buy a whole 12 pack box of ramen, you can buy packs individually, but you’ll probably spend more. Only $4.37 for this meal!
