  • Lasagna Soup

    I made this right when it started to get cold outside and it was SO GOOD! Beautiful lasagna flavors in soup form! What’s not to love?

    Ingredients:

    • 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
    • 1 jar pasta sauce
    • 1 box chicken broth
    • 1 box lasagna noodles
    • 1 T Italian seasoning
    • 1/2 T onion powder
    • 1/2 T garlic powder
    • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (plus extra for topping)
    • Mozzarella cheese
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    Steps:

    1. Brown meat and drain excess grease. Add in seasonings, pasta sauce, and broth and bring to a boil.
    2. Break noodles into bite sized pieces and add to pot. Cook until tender.
    3. Stir in parmesan cheese and serve! Top with mozzarella and extra parmesan before enjoying.
