My name is Katie Nethery, a born and raised Alabamian! I come from a long line of amazing cooks and love to create fresh recipes with locally sourced ingredients. I’m an avid gardener, cook, and chicken tender (pun intended). My dream is to start a food-focused magazine someday, so I figured “why not start now?”
Education
I received my BA in English from the University of Alabama and am currently working towards my MA in English with a concentration in creative writing through the University of North Alabama. I have also taken numerous other classes related to writing such as journalism, technical writing, blog posting, document design, and much more!
